Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and GL.
• Familiar with accrual-based accounting and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Experience with Dynamics GP is a plus.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or inventory accounting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities including cash applications and collections.
• Oversee accounts payable processes including invoice entry and payments.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support general ledger activities, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare recurring financial and operational reports.
• Maintain inventory accounting records and assist with cost tracking.
• Coordinate with external accountants for audits and reporting requests.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting.
• Assist with additional admin and system enhancement tasks.
