Job summary

Sayva Solutions is seeking experienced Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager-level consultants to join our Orange County practice for a variety of client engagements.

Engagements cover financial reporting, month-end close, technical accounting, process improvements, and finance transformations. Some roles are onsite, hybrid, or remote depending on the client, with compensation at $55–$75 per hour (W-2).

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience at the Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or comparable level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CPA-track experience preferred but not required.
• Public accounting experience is highly valued.
• Experience within large, complex, publicly traded, private equity-backed, or multi-entity organizations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting operations.
• Experience with process improvement, ERP systems, finance transformation, automation, or systems initiatives is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to enter a new organization, learn quickly, work independently, and provide hands-on accounting support with minimal ramp-up time.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and other core accounting activities.
• Work within complex, multi-entity, multi-location, or publicly traded accounting environments.
• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, schedules, and management reporting.
• Support technical accounting, accounting policies, internal controls, audit readiness, and financial reporting initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support finance transformation, ERP implementations, systems optimization, automation, and related initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting, FP&A, operations, and other business teams.
• Provide additional accounting support during periods of growth, transition, acquisitions, integrations, system implementations, or organizational change.
• At the Manager level, provide oversight, review, and mentorship to accounting team members as needed.
• Quickly learn new accounting environments, establish priorities, and independently drive assigned work through completion.

About the Opportunity:

Sayva Solutions is looking to connect with experienced Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager-level professionals interested in joining our consulting practice for a variety of client engagements throughout the Orange County market. Our clients range from growing private and private equity-backed organizations to large, complex, and publicly traded companies.

Engagements may include financial reporting, month-end close support, technical accounting, process improvement, finance transformation, systems initiatives, and other complex accounting projects. We are particularly interested in accounting professionals who can quickly learn a new environment, operate independently, and provide hands‑on support to accounting and finance teams.

Orange County, CA. Opportunities may include onsite, hybrid, and remote arrangements depending on the engagement.

Compensation:

$55–$75/hour (W-2)
