Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant Position

1. Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance
2. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
3. Assist in the month-end close processes
4. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure the integrity of financial information
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently
6. Assist with process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function
7. Perform ad-hoc reporting and special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or Controller

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant general ledger focused accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 hr. B.O.E.
