Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to perform accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks to ensure accurate and effective daily accounting functions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide accounting and clerical support to the department.
  2. Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
  3. Handle bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
  4. Reconcile accounts promptly.
  5. Enter financial transactions daily into the database.
  6. Assist and support company personnel.
  7. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  8. Report activity summaries to management.
  9. Operate according to standards, procedures, and laws.
  10. Update job knowledge regularly.
Requirements
  1. Proven accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or payable.
  2. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
  4. Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  5. Accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical aptitude.
  6. Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
  7. Data entry and word processing skills.
  8. Well-organized with a college degree, associate’s degree, or relevant certification.
Remote Work Information

Remote employees need an uninterrupted workspace, family care during work hours, and internet speeds of at least 50 MBps. Multiple users on the same connection require higher speeds.

Compensation

The salary range is $65,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience and location. Benefits include 401(k) match, health insurance, paid time off, and more.
