Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a System Security Engineering (SSE) Program Lead - P4 to oversee program execution, lead an SSE team, and interface with customers and engineering disciplines to ensure architectures meet program needs.

This onsite role requires a STEM degree, active Secret clearance, and prior DoD security experience; you will guide security requirements, perform threat modeling, and help shape system security across RTX products.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience in technical leadership
• Experience in the fields of System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, AT, cybersecurity or embedded security
• Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies and guidelines
• Experience generating security (AT and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans and/or policies

Responsibilities

• Performing Task Lead duties (e.g., task planning, product owner, scrum master)
• Implement SSE solutions into RTX products
• Interact with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
• Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
• Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems
• Consult and assist program line management with SSE architectures and issues
• Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
• Developing top-level system requirements, and flowing down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem
• Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies
• Supporting the development of bids and proposals
• Working with Earned Value Management (EVM)
