Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a System Security Engineering (SSE) Program Lead - P4 to oversee SSE program execution, lead an SSE team, and interface with customers during reviews and demos. The role emphasizes security-conscious design, DoD compliance, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

The candidate will lead analysis of SSE issues, coordinate roadmap deliverables, and ensure alignment with mission needs while managing cost, schedule and technical risk on complex DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience in System Security Engineering and DoD programs.
• Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on DoD programs.
• Experience generating security requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans and/or policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead SSE task planning and execution (e.g., task planning, product owner, scrum master).
• Implement SSE solutions into RTX products
• Interact with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
• Develop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation
• Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems
• Consult with program management on SSE architectures and issues
• Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
• Develop top-level system requirements, and flow down requirements to subsystems
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies
• Support development of bids and proposals
• Work with Earned Value Management (EVM)
