Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the SRE function for critical production services. You will translate business priorities into reliability outcomes, champion automation, and partner with product, software, platform and security teams.

You will develop domain reliability strategy, set roadmaps, and maintain hands-on depth to contribute to engineering solutions while guiding teams toward scalable, observable, and secure systems.

Qualifikationen

• Typically 12+ years of relevant software engineering, site reliability engineering or production engineering experience including significant technical leadership.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience with success leading engineering teams and developing managers/senior leaders.
• Experience operating highly available, business-critical distributed systems and leading reliability improvements across a major product or domain.
• Strong understanding of SRE practices including SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, observability, incident management and automation.

• Establish meaningful SLIs and SLOs aligned with customer and business outcomes.
• Identify and prioritize reliability risks using SLO performance, error budgets and production data.
• Champion reusable tooling and automation to improve reliability and reduce operational toil.
• Ensure production readiness, capacity planning and secure development practices.
