Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer III to advance the reliability of mission-critical systems. You will build, monitor, and optimize cloud-based applications and infrastructure, while driving scalable, end-to-end operability across teams.

You will lead L1/L2 production support, improve observability, and collaborate with engineering to implement robust change/release standards. Strong AWS, Datadog, and CI/CD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical site reliability engineering experience.
• Strong grounding in SRE culture, practices and incident management.
• Proficient in Python, Java or .NET and cloud-based deployments.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations before changes.
• Solid debugging skills across distributed systems and data issues.

Responsibilities

• Guide and collaborate on level designs and SRE adoption within the team.
• Design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches with CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis.
• Monitor alerts, dashboards, and service health; drive rapid engagement during issues.
• Improve observability through instrumentation and alert quality to reduce MTTR.
• Own the support operating model: runbooks, handoffs, shift coverage, and post-incident follow-through.
• Partner to drive root causes, assess dependencies, and build lightweight automation.
• Lead L1/L2 production support with quick triage and stakeholder updates.
• Apply AI capabilities to identify reliability risk patterns and reduce toil.
