Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to help ensure system reliability within the Commercial and Investment Banking and Payment Technology Team in Chicago.

You will apply software engineering best practices to solve business problems and work on medium-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional partners to deepen your knowledge of the company’s technology stack. You will implement observability, incident response, and automation, while leveraging

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience (NAMR/APAC – India/ LATAM/ Hong Kong)
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience (EMEA/LATAM-Brazil)
Singapore follow local country guidance

Responsibilities

Executes small to medium projects independently with initial direction and graduates to delivering projects independently
Writes high quality, maintainable code following software engineering best practices
Triage, examine, diagnose, and resolve incidents with cross-functional teammates
Identify and reduce toil through system design or code improvements
Improve observability with SLIs/SLAs, monitoring, and alerting
Support AI-assisted operations with validation and data sensitivity awareness
Ensure security, resiliency, and auditability in incident response and remediation
