Job summary

Barclays is seeking an Application Support Analyst - SRE to ensure the availability and reliability of Synthetics SWAP Trading applications in New York and Whippany. You will manage production issues, perform crisis response, and coordinate with multiple teams to minimize business disruption.

The role requires strong Unix/Linux/Windows knowledge, SQL Server development, and scripting skills, with experience in trading environments and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Unix/Linux/Windows in production environments.
• Experience with SQL Server development, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in Shell/Perl scripting and PowerShell; some Java/middleware knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and application management for Synthetics SWAP Trading and related apps.
• Act as primary escalation point for Front Office incidents and participate in crisis management.
• Collaborate with Business, Development, Infrastructure, Operations and vendors for production changes and incident resolution.
