Job summary

Yablon & Associates LLC is seeking a Trade Support Engineer with strong FIX and Python skills to support Equity trading platforms, front office systems, risk, and middle office real-time products. The role sits in Midtown Manhattan with hybrid work (3 days onsite / 2 days WFH) and requires 10+ years of experience.

You will partner with business users and technical teams to investigate and resolve production issues, build monitoring, and implement CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring 24/7 availability

Qualifications

• Strong experience in scripting Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Capital Markets domain experience across CASH, ETS, Options, Swaps.
• Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix services.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, OTEL, Datadog).

Responsibilities

• Front Line Trade support, Site Reliable Engineering and Support for Equity trading systems.
• Build monitoring tools for applications and infrastructure components.
• Implement and manage scalable infrastructure using cloud-native technologies.
• Gather and analyze metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
• Collaborate with business, development, and infrastructure teams to improve services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Lead incident response and post-mortem analyses to prevent recurrences.
• Provide 24/7 global support including on-call rotations.
