Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a global team supporting a Risk Management Platform. The contract role in Pennington, NJ entails 12 to 18 months with 4 days onsite initially, then 3 days onsite, and 2nd shift with weekend rotation.

The ideal candidate will have Linux, SDLC, ITIL, and DevOps tooling experience, plus Java or Python scripting. Pay is $55–$60 per hour on a W-2 basis with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with SDLC and Release Management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals and operational skills.
• Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance and automation.
• Proficient in Java or Python.
• Strong analytical skills with Global Markets Post Trade services.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies.
• Cloud exposure with Azure and AWS.
• Experience with Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global teams and deliver with minimal mentoring.
• Evaluate existing tech and propose improvements to global teams.
• L3 support during client business hours.
• Manage end-to-end Linux-based infrastructure hosting core components.
• Provide 8x7 coverage including weekend rotation.
• Monitor and support application infrastructure and dependent technologies.
• Proactively fix infrastructure issues before end users notice.
