Job summary

Collabera is hiring a Cloud / SRE Infrastructure Engineer for a 12–18 month contract in the banking industry, based in Jersey City, NJ, or Pennington, NJ. The role follows a hybrid work arrangement, with hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

You will monitor production infrastructure, automate using Ansible, CI/CD, IaC, and containers or OpenShift, and contribute to AWS/Azure migrations while developing Python/Django REST APIs and internal tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.
• 3+ years of SRE or production reliability exposure.
• 5+ years administering Linux and troubleshooting.
• Strong Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, and observability tooling knowledge.
• Experience with production infra, automation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot production infrastructure and apps.
• Use Dynatrace/OpenTelemetry/Splunk to detect issues and analyze performance.
• Troubleshoot Linux/Unix, DB, cloud, and infra problems.
• Assist AWS/Azure migration and modernization efforts.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, IaC, CI/CD, and containers/OpenShift.
• Develop Python, Django, and REST APIs and internal tools.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve reliability and scalability.
