Everforth Apex is seeking a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join the MAPS Quartz team in Pennington, New Jersey onsite. You will help monitor and maintain Quartz Core environment components, drive automation, tool development, and support scaling for a Global Risk Management Platform with rotating second-shift and weekend coverage.

The role requires strong Linux internals knowledge, scripting in Python/Java, and experience with SDLC, ITIL, and SRE/DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Linux OS internals and operational OS skills.
Experience in handling overall IT infrastructure scheduled maintenance.
Strong programming skills in a language such as Java or Python.
Strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Release Management.
Understanding of ITIL methodologies.
Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Linux infrastructure hosting core components like databases, GRID, and schedulers.
Monitor and support application infrastructure and dependent components.
Proactively address infrastructure issues to keep systems healthy.
Collaborate with global teams to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Evaluate existing components and implement improvements.
Provide L3 support during US business hours and participate in on-call.
Develop tools, automate tasks, manage releases, troubleshoot issues, and plan capacity.
