UCSF Health is seeking a Senior Surgical Technologist to assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and to function as a key member of the surgical team during operative procedures. This role supports UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and Walnut Creek, requiring flexibility to orient at all UCSF Health locations and to work across multiple OR suites.

The Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and functions as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures. In addition to performing the duties of the Surgical Technologist, the Senior Surgical Technologist functions in a specialty service and utilizes and troubleshoots service implementation and equipment and is a resource to the Surgical Technologists.
The UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (OR) consists of 11 surgical suites and 1 procedural.
Walnut Creek (OR) has two surgical suites and one special procedure room.
Our primary focus is multidisciplinary team-based approach and staffing.
Services include, but are not limited to: Neurology, Ortho/Spine, Otolaryngology, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Cardiac, General Surgery, GI, Hem/Onc.
