Job summary

This role supports UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and Walnut Creek, requiring flexibility to orient at all UCSF Health locations and to work across multiple OR suites.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent scrubbing clinical experience in an acute care OR.
• Recent cardiac experience within last two years.
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least two surgical specialties.
• Active AHA CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• Graduated from a surgical technologist program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
• Function as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures.
• Serve as a specialty service resource and troubleshoot equipment and service implementation.
• Support multiple UCSF Health locations and OR suites with high quality patient care.
