University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist with the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and to serve on the surgical team during operative procedures in the UCSF Medical Center ORs.
The role supports multiple specialties and locations, emphasizing teamwork, patient safety, and high-quality care; flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.
The Surgical Technologist assists with the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment and serves as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures.
UCSF Stanyan Operating Room (OR) consists of 8 surgical suites for inpatient and outpatient surgeries. Services include, but are not limited to: Orthopedics, General, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Pain Service, General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, and Podiatry.
All patient care team members are responsible for meeting patient needs, demonstrating willingness to learn new skills, and fostering a harmonious work environment in which high-quality patient care and customer service are consistently provided.
