Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 9+ years of experience in data engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture.
• 3+ years of experience building applications in AWS.
• 7+ years of experience programming in Python, Java, or Scala.
• 6+ years of experience designing and developing data pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience in data modeling and designing end-to-end data solutions.

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Staff Data Engineer (Remote -Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This senior engineering role will shape the organization’s data foundation by designing scalable solutions that support analytics, decision-making, and enterprise-wide technology strategy. The position will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to align data systems, strengthen architectural standards, and advance modern engineering practices. It also calls for a trusted technical leader who can mentor talent, champion reuse, and help drive adoption of modern data capabilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $286,200 – $326,700 annually
