About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a pivotal team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data transformation pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Implement data models and schemas to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of information.
• Utilize DBT to transform data into useful, actionable information.
• Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of and hands‑on experience with Python and SQL.
• Expertise with DBT (Data Build Tool), with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of hands‑on experience.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Experience with databases and data storage/movement technologies like Databricks, AWS Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
