Job summary

Organo USA is seeking a Senior QA/QC Technician to support the UPW system quality program onsite in Phoenix. You will plan, implement, and manage QC activities, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering is a plus.
• 3+ years in a CWI/QC role within an industrial setting preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and standards; strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 days per year.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and quality control assessments on welding and fabrication processes.
• Ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, DVS and OSHA regulations.
• Help develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Interpret and review blueprints, schematics, and specifications to verify project requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate installation hold points, witness inspections, and final acceptance with clients and subcontractors.
• Directly supervise QC team and subcontractor QC team; collaborate with construction and safety teams.
