Job summary

Organo USA, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer to support the Ultrapure water (UPW) construction team onsite in Phoenix, AZ.

This role bridges design, office, and field activities, overseeing installation, procurement, commissioning, and start-up of the UPW system. The position combines fieldwork with office duties, requiring blueprint interpretation, coordination with engineers and subcontractors, and strict safety/quality adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or related fields preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–50% as required.
• Experience in UPW or water treatment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and overseeing the construction of the UPW system to meet design and safety standards.
• Coordinate supervision of Contractors during design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Maintain clear communication with all team members and report issues promptly.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for accurate layout and planning.
• Develop schedules, work plans, and production reviews with the team.
• On-site and office-based tasks with time management for meetings, planning, and reporting.
