Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a QA/QC Supervisor to lead the QA/QC Project Team, setting expectations, coaching direct reports, and ensuring First-in Inspection reduces risk and cost from fabrication and installation errors.

The role requires an Associate degree and 8–10 years in Quality Control, with ASME B31 piping, welding, and NDT experience; SCWI/CWI certifications are preferred and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent and 10 years of overall experience.
• 8+ years in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping, fabrication, welding, NDT.
• SCWI/CWI or ICC Mechanical certification preferred
• 3+ years leading and managing direct reports.
• Ability to read and interpret codes, write and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct quality analysis, inspection, design, test, and integration.
• Review design documentation for compliance with requirements and quality records.
• Apply SPC methods to analyze data and evaluate processes.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance Manager for inspection planning and non-conformance.
• Provide project quality expectations to inspectors and attend weekly meetings.
• Review purchased products and advise on acceptance and future vendor selections.
• Document QA activities per company policies and produce reports.
• Maintain knowledge of government and industry QA codes and standards.
• Direct and develop QA/QC personnel and present technical info to teams.
