Responsibilities include welding inspections, reviewing WPS/PQR, and ensuring adherence to ASME, IPC, IBC, NFPA codes on-site. The role requires a valid CWI certification, 5+ years in industrial/plumbing inspection, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and city officials to uphold safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Must have a valid CWI certification. CWI/ASW is a must.
• High school diploma or GED required; CWI/ASW certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial plumbing or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct weld inspections and daily field inspections according to project requirements.
• Prepare and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
• Monitor and document subcontractors' WPS, PQR, QMPs, Weld logs, and related records.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and input results into permitting software.
• Review construction plans for code compliance and provide on-site resolution.
