Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to support payload subsystems. The role requires a TS clearance, the ability to work in an IPT, and on-site work in San Diego or Palmdale, CA with up to 25% travel.

The candidate will provide key engineering support, lead readiness activities, and coordinate with suppliers and engineering teams to ensure objectives are met within specifications. A STEM degree with extensive experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience (MS 6+ years also acceptable).
• Experience with payload systems and integration.
• Experience in supplier management and system integration.
• Active US GovernmentTop-Secret Clearance (or eligibility).
• Ability to obtain SCI and SAP clearances when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for a payload subsystem within an IPT framework.
• Lead readiness reviews, test briefs, and defect analysis with test teams.
• Coordinate anomalies with engineering and suppliers; review bulletins and RPRs.
• Work on-site full-time at Northrop Grumman facility; travel up to 25%.
