Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in California seeks a Sr. Principal Electronic Warfare Engineer to support payload subsystems in a full-time, on-site role at San Diego/Rancho Bernardo or Palmdale.

The candidate will lead readiness reviews, coordinate with suppliers, and perform post-test analyses while ensuring security and compliance for critical defense programs. A Top Secret clearance is required with SCI/SAP eligibility; travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of related professional/military experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years.
• Hands-on experience with payload systems.
• Technical development and systems integration experience.
• Experience managing suppliers and cross-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for a payloads subsystem within an IPT construct.
• Coordinate readiness reviews, test briefs, and defect investigations.
• Perform post-test analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting.
• Support system checkout, test planning, and anomaly review with SMEs.
