Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer (T04) to support Electronic Warfare (EW) system development for airborne sensors. This 100% onsite role focuses on system design, integration, and test across HW/SW/FW/IPT teams.

The selected candidate will work with IPT leads to define, develop, integrate, and verify mission-critical EW solutions, contributing to architecture, requirements, and risk management while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience in systems engineering, integration and test for aerospace/defense systems.
• Experience with airborne sensors, RF or EW concepts and multi-disciplinary IPTs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system-level architecture, design, and requirements decomposition for airborne EW sensor systems.
• Plan and execute integration and test activities for EW systems and sensors in lab and field environments.
• Collaborate with HW, SW, FW, I&T, and Program Management to maintain technical alignment.
• Perform system-level analysis, modeling, and performance trades to inform design decisions.
• Develop and review test plans, procedures, and test reports and ensure traceability to requirements.
