Job summary

Meyer Utilities Structures is seeking a Pricing Specialist to maximize revenue, stay competitive, and support growth. You will work with Sales Directors, Commercial Managers, Project Management, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Operations to optimize pricing and margins.

The role requires strong data analysis, pricing strategies, and cross-department collaboration. A related degree and 3+ years of experience are preferred. This is an on-site Memphis-based position with Arcosa, Inc. backing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant pricing or commercial experience.
• Experience with pricing processes for proposals and RFPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposal pricing for all RFPs.
• Understand customer account nuances and dynamics.
• Develop pricing recommendations for alliances and vendors based on contracts.
• Update pricing based on industry indices and market trends.
• Identify opportunities to increase margin by tracking pricing changes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to finalize freight estimates.
• Analyze close data vs bids and work with other areas on opportunities.

Meyer Utilities Structures is searching for a Pricing Specialist. The Pricing Specialist plays an important role in maximizing revenue, maintaining competitiveness in the market, and supporting business growth. The Pricing Specialist will work with members of the Commercial organization such Sales Directors and Commercial Managers, Project Management, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop proposal pricing for all RFPs
• Understand customer account nuances and dynamics
• Develop pricing recommendations for all alliances and preferred vendors work based on contract requirements
• Update pricing based on industry indices
• Identify opportunities to increase margin based on tracking pricing based on industry indices, internal labor adjustments and market trends
• Update pricing based on customer changes as needed
• Work with Supply Chain to finalize freight estimates outside of established rates
• Analyze the closing data of the jobs compared to bids or original information and work with other area of the business on the opportunities

• Working knowledge of utility structures industry preferred
