Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Bothell, WA seeks a senior CX/UX researcher to lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative studies, from sampling and instrument design to statistical analysis, uncovering customer pain points and workflows.

You will translate insights into actionable product design, integrate AI to speed study workflows while preserving rigor, and collaborate with product managers to prioritize features based on user impact and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human-Centered Design, Psychology, Market Research, or related field; quantitative/statistics background.
  • 7+ years (Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (Master’s) in CX/UX/product research with hands-on delivery.
  • Proficiency in qualitative research, experimentation, usability; applied statistics for behavioral/telemetry data.
  • Hands-on ability to plan, field, and analyze studies without external vendors (Python/R; Qualtrics, SPSS).
  • Experience integrating AI into research workflows.
  • Ability to synthesize complex qualitative/behavioral data; agile experience.
  • Proficiency with UserZoom, Qualtrics, Medallia, or similar.

Qualifications
Basic
  • Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Human-Centered Design, Psychology, Market Research, or related field; quantitative/statistics background.
  • 7+ years (Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (Master’s) in CX/UX/product research with hands-on delivery.
  • Proficiency in qualitative research, experimentation, usability; applied statistics (experimental design, power analysis, significance testing) for behavioral/telemetry data.
  • Hands-on ability to plan, field, and analyze studies/tests/experiments without external vendors (e.g., Python/R; tools/software such as Qualtrics, SPSS).
  • Experience integrating AI into research workflows.
  • Ability to synthesize complex qualitative/behavioral data; agile experience.
  • Proficiency with UserZoom, Qualtrics, Medallia, or similar.
Preferred
  • Behavioral insights applied to product design; strong PM/cross-functional leadership; excellent communication.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
  • Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400; bonus target 17.5% + eligibility for long-term incentive; 401(k) matching; paid time off; caregiver/parental leave; health benefits (medical, dental, vision).
