Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and direct the CX Research capability; build and mentor a team of researchers and drive curiosity, rigor, and evidence-based advocacy.
  • Hands‑on: design, execute, and analyze qualitative research and experiments (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, concept testing), applying quantitative/statistical analysis to telemetry/behavioral data.
  • Combine telemetry/behavioral usage data with qualitative evidence to understand colleague behavior.
  • Operationalize AI-enabled research methods and continuous feedback loops with rigor, quality, and ethical standards.
  • Evaluate/pilot emerging AI research tools; define metrics to track AI adoption and impact.
  • Define and own enterprise measurement strategy for AI/solution adoption.
  • Partner across functions to prioritize investment areas; collaborate with data/analytics teams to improve colleague experience.
  • Monitor trends in human behavior, workplace technology, AI adoption, and colleague expectations; translate into actionable recommendations.

Job description

Role responsibilities:


  • Lead, develop, and direct the CX Research capability; build and mentor a team of researchers and drive curiosity, rigor, and evidence-based advocacy.

  • Hands‑on: design, execute, and analyze qualitative research and experiments (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, concept testing), applying quantitative/statistical analysis to telemetry/behavioral data.

  • Combine telemetry/behavioral usage data (product usage, clickstream, in‑app interactions) with qualitative evidence to understand colleague behavior.

  • Operationalize AI-enabled research methods and continuous feedback loops (automated workflows, persona‑based insight extraction, synthetic data as appropriate) with rigor, quality, and ethical standards.

  • Evaluate/pilot emerging AI research tools; define metrics to track AI adoption and impact.

  • Define and own enterprise measurement strategy for AI/solution adoption.

  • Partner across functions to prioritize investment areas; collaborate with data/analytics teams to improve colleague experience.

  • Monitor trends in human behavior, workplace technology, AI adoption, and colleague expectations; translate into actionable recommendations.


Qualifications:

Basic:


  • Bachelor’s in a research/human‑centered field.

  • 8+ years in UX or behavioral research.

  • 2+ years leading/managing researchers.

  • Experience designing/executing qualitative and quantitative research.


Preferred:


  • Advanced degree; 10+ years research (incl. regulated industry).

  • Strong UX methods and applied statistics (experimental design, power analysis, significance testing).

  • Experience using AI‑driven research tools; analyzing telemetry/behavioral data; proficiency with Python/R and tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS).


Compensation/benefits (explicit):


  • Base salary $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% and eligibility for share‑based long‑term incentives; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), vacation/holidays, paid leave, and medical/dental/vision coverage.


Travel/schedule: Minimal travel required.
