GRELLAS SHAH LLP in San Francisco's Finance District is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of commercial litigation experience for an in-office, full-time role. You will manage cases from intake to trial, handle e-filings, coordinate document productions and discovery, and support pre-trial preparations while communicating with clients and court staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
• 5+ years of commercial litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and California court procedures.
• Familiarity with ESI and eDiscovery.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be available for overtime work; hybrid schedule flexibility.

Pay rate: $55 - $75 per hour (DOE) + benefits.

Role Overview

Our growing litigation practice is seeking an experienced paralegal to join the team! What You’ll Do

• Manage cases from intake through potential trial and resolution.
• Manage e-filings and manual filings in state and federal courts.
• Coordinate and manage document productions; discovery, including large volume eDiscovery.
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with Federal and California court rules, also referred to as calendaring.
• Independently prepare, format, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, correspondence, including TOA/TOC
• Coordinate experts and expert discovery
• Assist with cite-checking and legal research as needed.
• Pre-trial preparation (binders, exhibits, filings)
• Appropriately communicate with clients, experts and court personnel

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
• 5+ years of commercial litigation paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of Federal and California court procedures
• Familiarity with ESI and eDiscovery
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly preferred familiarity with: Clio, NetDocuments, LawToolBox
• Must be available for overtime work as needed.
• Must be flexible on hybrid schedule to adapt as needed.
