  • Liaises with staff regarding services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for third-party contractors with required safety inductions and permits.
  • Uses CMMS to administer and close work orders, keeps users informed of status, and updates records.
  • Performs daily equipment preparation and setup, and ensures instruments are ready for staff scientists.
  • Replenishes solvents and ensures purchase orders for non-contract work are in place.
  • Assists in audit preparation and retrieves documentation for inspections.
  • Prepares mobile-phase solutions used in experiments and performs other duties as assigned.

This is a fully onsite Monday-Friday role in Philadelphia,PA. What You’ll Do

  • Liaises with staff regarding services required for installation, maintenance,moves, and relocations. Supports the proposed items of instrumentation.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for all third-party contractors, ensuringthat they have a valid EHS and GMP induction, a thorough risk assessment, andan official method statement and permit, prior to the commencement of work.
  • Using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), administers theclosure manage work orders in compliance with procedures and practices. Keepsend users apprised of work order status and acts as a lead for the timelyescalation of service request(s). Ensures CMMS records are updated accuratelyand reflects the current status of the equipment.
  • Performs daily equipment preparation and setup. Prepares quality controlstandards and performs checks on instruments, ensuring that equipment availablefor staff scientist.
  • Replenishes solvents used in conjunction with laboratory equipment, as needed.
  • Ensures purchase order(s) are in place in conjunction with prior commencementof non-contract work.
  • Assists in audit preparation; retrieves documentation for inspection purposes.
  • Prepares the mobile-phase solutions that are used in conjunction withexperiments conducted on laboratory equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required and a minimum offour years of related experience or equivalent work experience; pharmaceuticaland/or GMP experience. Previous customer service or administration experiencepreferred.
  • Knowledge of GxP and understanding of a lab instrument services environmentpreferred.
  • Prior experience working with radioactive material preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with databases and/or systems.
