Sr Informatics Sales Manager

Waters is looking for a Informatics Sales Manager to lead our North American Informatics sales team. This is a great opportunity to lead a team of outstanding sales and support personnel while working for a company passionate about delivering benefits to our customers, employees, community, and shareholders.

The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated, results-oriented leader with proven ability to motivate and develop a field sales and support organization. They should have the ability to proactively identify and resolve problems, control costs, and maximize sales team efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Direct sales and support responsibility for Enterprise Informatics revenue, including achieving financial objectives for orders, sales, margins, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with field and global marketing teams to develop a dynamic and aggressive business plan to improve market share, drive next-generation informatics products, and meet budgets across all regions and segments.
  • Establish and strengthen strategic customer relationships, including with the executive levels of major accounts.
  • Ensure a great customer experience by focusing on customer engagement and success.
  • Develop direct reports to improve sales performance and support career growth.
  • Manage Field Sales Team and key customer activities.
  • Attain annual operating plan, forecast, and ensure Salesforce compliance.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience with a successful track record. Experience selling CDS, ELN, SDMS, and SaaS solutions in a GxP environment is preferred.
  • Previous sales management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Waters Informatics Products, especially Empower Software, is a plus.
  • Proven success in sophisticated sales environments, including enterprise software or high-tech instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of IT (networking, Windows domain, client/server, database, cloud computing).
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and regulated markets.
  • Experience with CRM or similar platforms.
  • Broad business and financial acumen with various sales tactics and services knowledge.
