Role and Responsibilities

The Carrier Business Sr. Manager will launch and manage Samsung Mobile’s B2B sales strategy for a high-profile carrier account. The role involves collaboration with Samsung’s Carrier Sales Organization to ensure coordinated efforts and the development of B2B relationships at all levels within the carrier’s organization. The candidate should be comfortable in client-facing roles with both business and technical audiences, possessing strong presentation skills and technical knowledge of mobile solutions.

  • Manage and develop a sales team targeting key categories.
  • Drive revenue across Samsung’s mobile solutions, including hardware and software.
  • Increase market share and revenue within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain accurate account business opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Build strong relationships with carrier executives to align strategies.
  • Set and achieve annual sales targets and develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Design tactical plans in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Engage effectively with all levels of the carrier’s B2B organization.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop business strategies based on comprehensive analysis of carrier capabilities and market insights.
  • Prepare reports and analysis to guide business planning.
  • Stay informed on Samsung Mobile hardware, software, and Android for Enterprise.
  • Manage communications, sales promotions, and training initiatives.
  • Establish relationships with carrier B2B sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for solution launches and promotions.
  • Travel as needed within the US to client locations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; Master’s preferred; 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • 8-10 years in enterprise technology sales or business development, with knowledge of mobile handset markets, OEMs, and carriers.
  • 3-5 years selling mobile solutions with US carriers.
  • Proven sales success and ability to build relationships with US carriers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and present confidently to executives.
  • Collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Willingness to travel 60-70% within the US.
