Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Facilities Manager in Playa Vista, CA, to oversee facilities and workplace experience for a ~76,000-square-foot site.

You’ll partner with the client, lead operations, manage vendor relations, and guide Workplace Experience Supervisors to deliver exceptional service. You will build trusted relationships, anticipate client needs, and drive operational excellence in a high-visibility, client-facing role.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting clients through a third-party facilities management or integrated facilities services model.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Facility Management certification(e.g., IFMA, BOMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in budget management, including accruals, deferrals, and variance reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in staffing, training, development, coaching, performance management, and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular stakeholder meetings and a solutions-oriented approach to addressing facility and workplace experience needs.
  • Lead and coordinate facility repairs and maintenance by partnering with technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality service.
  • Plan, prepare, and manage projects, operating budgets, and variance reports with precision and strategic oversight.
  • Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, repairs, and upgrades, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and enforce environmental health and safety procedures tailored to each facility’s needs.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, oversee invoicing processes, and review and approve purchase orders for parts, services, and labor.
  • Apply broad business and technical knowledge to align facilities operations with departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Provide formal supervision to staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, training, and development planning.

Based on-site with the client in Playa Vista, CA, you'll serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, developing strong stakeholder relationships while overseeing facilities and workplace experience services for a high-profile, approximately 76,000-square-foot location.


This role offers the opportunity to blend facilities management expertise with workplace experience leadership in a highly visible, client-facing environment. You'll lead the delivery of facilities operations, maintenance programs, vendor management, and service excellence while also managing Workplace Experience Supervisors who help create a welcoming, engaging, and productive workplace.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Need:
