Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania's Squash Center is seeking a part-time Squash instructor to conduct lessons and run programs for all ages and levels on 12 indoor courts. This role will emphasize delivering high-quality coaching, developing clinics, tournaments, and camps, and fostering a welcoming, safety-conscious environment.

You will plan sessions, promote Penn values, and provide excellent customer service to members and families, while coordinating with staff for events and ongoing

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain a large and enthusiastic group of volunteers to assist with programming.

Job Description Summary

The University of Pennsylvania's Squash Center is seeking apart-time Squash professional. Our facilities consist of 12 indoorcourts. This position is responsible for conducting squash lessonsand programs for all ages and ability levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run University of Pennsylvania's squash sessions andactivities, while implementing the University's mission and values.Squash sessions consist of group clinics that address technical,tactical and physical aspects of the game. Other squash activitiesconsist of tournaments, team matches, camps and othersquash-related events.
• Identify, plan, and create squash and development opportunitiesfor students.
• Build a strong culture that is aligned with the mission, visionand core values of University of Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift to 50pounds.
• Authorized to work in the US or Canada, depending on worklocation.
• Squash Level 1 Certified or European Equivalent.
• CPR and AED Certified within 30 days of hire.
