Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania's Squash Center is seeking a part-time Squash instructor to conduct lessons and run programs for all ages and levels on 12 indoor courts. This role will emphasize delivering high-quality coaching, developing clinics, tournaments, and camps, and fostering a welcoming, safety-conscious environment.

You will plan sessions, promote Penn values, and provide excellent customer service to members and families, while coordinating with staff for events and ongoing

• Thorough knowledge of squash and effective teaching styles and techniques.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run University of Pennsylvania's squash sessions and activities, including group clinics addressing technical, tactical, and physical aspects of the game.
• Identify, plan, and create squash development opportunities for students.
• Build a culture aligned with Penn's mission, vision and core values.
• Recruit and retain a large and enthusiastic group of volunteers to assist with programming.
• Communicate regularly with families and plan squash tournaments and trips in collaboration with staff.
