Job Description Summary

All Pilates Instructors are expected to deliver safe and effectiveclasses to all levels of participants. This position will be underthe supervision of the Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellnessand the Head Pilates Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Build safe, effective, and engaging Pilates class plans forparticipants at all fitness levels. Connect with participants tobuild rapport and be their accountability partner. Explain anddemonstrate exercises in detail. Provide modifications andprogressions for exercises. Explain and educate participants onsafe and proper use of gym equipment.
• Check-in all participants using the Fusion software systemprior to the start of every group exercise class. Report attendanceafter every class into the Group Ex Pro software system.
• Promote Campus Recreation programs and services. Informparticipants on gym policies for safety and hygiene.
• Staff meetings as needed. Assist with department-wide programs,staff trainings, etc. Other duties and responsibilities asassigned.
