Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced SPW leader to drive Self-Perform Work scope across business units, aligning safety, quality, schedule, and financial outcomes with project leadership and field operations.

You will oversee staffing, labor strategies, and risk-informed decision-making while developing SPW leaders, improving performance, and contributing to site success across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or field supervision.
• 5 years of experience leading Self-Perform Work (SPW) scopes, trade operations, or multi-project teams.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required within 6 months of hire; OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads SPW scope execution across the business unit, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
• Partners with preconstruction, get work, and project leadership to support pursuit strategy, pre-selling of SPW scope work, and interview preparation.
• Oversees SPW staffing strategies, workload planning, and resource allocation for pursuits and active projects.
• Reviews and guides SPW estimating approaches, labor strategies, and risk considerations to support informed decision-making.
• Oversees SPW project performance, including production trends, forecasting, change management, and financial outcomes.
• Ensures SPW field leadership engagement in project planning, scheduling, constructability reviews, and execution planning.
