Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior SPW Leader to drive Self-Perform Work across a business unit, coordinating with preconstruction, get work, and field teams to align strategy, safety, quality, and cost objectives. You will oversee staffing, estimating approaches, and performance leadership to ensure sustained project success.

This role emphasizes talent development, standardized practices, and continuous improvement while guiding project managers and field leaders toward successful execution

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or field supervision.
• 5 years of experience leading Self-Perform Work (SPW) scopes, trade operations, or multi-project teams.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required within 6 months of hire; OSHA 30-Hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads SPW scope execution across the business unit, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
• Partners with preconstruction, get work, and project leadership to support pursuit strategy, pre-selling of SPW scope work, and interview preparation.
• Oversees SPW staffing strategies, workload planning, and resource allocation to support pursuits and active projects across the business unit.
• Reviews and guides SPW estimating approaches, labor strategies, and risk considerations to support informed decision-making.
• Oversees SPW project performance, including production trends, forecasting, change management, and financial outcomes, and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Ensures SPW field leadership engagement in project planning, scheduling, constructability reviews, and execution planning.
• Manages and develops SPW project managers, superintendents, and other SPW leaders, supporting performance management, career development, and retention.
