Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a leader to oversee Self-Perform Work (SPW) scope across a business unit, aligning safety, quality, schedule and cost. You will partner with preconstruction, get work and field operations to drive performance and continuous improvement.

With a bachelor’s degree and extensive SPW experience, you will mentor SPW project managers, superintendents, and teams, advancing talent and standardized practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in construction operations, PM, or field supervision.
• 5 years leading SPW scopes, trade ops, or multi-project teams.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPW scope execution across the business unit, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
• Support pursuit strategy, pre-selling of SPW scope work, and interview preparation with leadership.
• Oversee SPW staffing, workload planning, and resource allocation to support pursuits and active projects across the business unit.
• Review and guide SPW estimating approaches, labor strategies, and risk considerations to support informed decision-making.
• Oversee SPW project performance, including production trends, forecasting, change management, and financial outcomes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure SPW field leadership engagement in project planning, scheduling, constructability reviews, and execution planning.
• Manage and develop SPW project managers, superintendents, and other SPW leaders, supporting performance management, career development, and retention.
