Job summary

S.A. Comunale seeks a Fire Protection Designer to draft sprinkler designs and hydraulic calculations per NFPA standards. You will work under the Senior Service Designer and Service Manager, coordinating with other trades on projects and developing complete material submittals.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency, understanding of NFPA codes, and strong organizational skills to meet annual objectives while maintaining safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of Fire Protection design experience preferred.
• Engineering background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create sprinkler drawings per NFPA standards.
• Identify building construction type per NFPA standards.
• Coordinate work with other trades on non-complex projects.
• Develop material submittals meeting industry standards.
• Lead project efforts and provide status reports to Service Manager.
• Order materials and liaise with customers to ensure smooth project execution.
