is seeking a Fire Protection Design professional to draft sprinkler designs in accordance with NFPA standards. The role supports the Senior Service Designer and Service Manager, coordinating with trades to ensure on-time, quality project delivery. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Fire Protection design, strong AutoCAD/Hydratec CAD skills, and a foundational understanding of project documentation and budgeting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in Fire Protection design is required.
• Engineering background is a plus.
• Some mechanical aptitude is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Hydratec CAD, and stock listing programs is required.
• NICET Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete sprinkler drawings per NFPA standards.
• Identify building construction type per NFPA standards.
• Coordinate work with other trades on non-complex projects.
• Lead project portions and provide status updates to the Service Manager.
• Order materials and ensure accurate project paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with customers and field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards for drawings and calculations.
