Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Store Director to oversee total store operations across departments, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to company standards. You will lead partners, manage pricing, merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention while driving sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field and two+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
• HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of starting.
• TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE certification within 2 weeks where applicable.
• Manager Food Safety certification within 2 weeks.
• AML certification within 2 weeks.
• Must meet driving policy age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance and handle disciplinary actions.
• Lead by example in customer service and resolve complaints.
• Open/close the store; follow safety and procedural guidelines.
• Ensure pricing accuracy, planogram adherence, and promotional displays.
• Manage front end operations including staffing, cash handling, and tender procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering and stock rotation.
• Review P&L, sales, shrink, and labor metrics; communicate findings to Store Director.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards across departments.
• Oversee loss prevention strategies and shrink control measures.
• Conduct regular store walks and inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Handle deposits, tills, and audits; report discrepancies.
• Provide training and accountability to partners to meet standards.
• Support achievement of store sales, EBITDA, gross margin, and OPEX targets.
