Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a store leader to manage fresh perimeter departments including bakery, deli, produce, and market in Tyler, Texas. You will ensure product quality, food safety, inventory control, and execution of merchandising plans while upholding company standards and delivering strong store sales and profits.

This role requires people leadership, training, scheduling, and a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age; associate degree and 2+ years experience, or equivalent.
• HIPAA, TABC/LACT/AABLE, Manager Food Safety, AML certifications within 2 weeks.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop partners; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; schedule and resolve issues.
• Manage inventory and planograms; review sales, shrink and labor data.
• Open/close the store; ensure safety and customer experience.
• Oversee merchandising plans and price/signage accuracy.
• Lead loss prevention initiatives and supervise staff.
