Position Summary
The Sports Science Coordinator is responsible for developing andplanning performance support strategies across the University ofOregon Athletic Department. The Sport Science Coordinator leads thedevelopment and execution of systems and processes to enhancestudent-athlete readiness, performance, and recovery. Thesemonitoring systems and processes will be imbedded within and aroundweight-room, conditioning, and practice sessions. They will berequired to work harmoniously within a multi-disciplinary highperformance environment.
The person in this position is responsible for promoting thephilosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athleticsprograms, including adherence to all department policies andprocedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University,BIG 10 Conference and the NCAA.
Special Requirement
This position will require a valid driver's license and the abilityto obtain UO Driver's Certification.
