Job summary

Smith+ Nephew in the United States seeks a Sports Medicine sales professional to convert physicians by calling on accounts and providing case coverage in the operating room. You will train surgeons on Smith+ Nephew products through education programs in your territory, building durable relationships with surgeons, hospitals and OR staff.

You will collaborate cross-divisionally to grow awareness and adoption of the Sports Medicine portfolio while developing a territory business plan to generate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years direct sales experience with 2–4 years in medical device industry preferred.
• Experience selling technology and/or capital products to multiple hospital call points.
• Proven track record achieving quota year over year.
• Experience leading/mentoring sales team members.

Responsibilities

• Convert physicians by sales calls and clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Train surgeons on Smith+ Nephew products through education programs in your territory.
• Build relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospital and OR staff, administrators and clinicians.
• Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed your quota.
• Collaborate cross-divisionally to increase awareness and adoption of the Sports Medicine portfolio.
