Job summary

Smith+ Nephew is seeking a Sports Medicine Territory Manager to drive adoption of our shoulder, knee and hip repair products. You will perform sales calls, provide clinical case coverage in the OR, and train surgeons through targeted education programs within your territory.

Success comes from deep Sports Medicine knowledge, strong relationship-building with surgeons and hospital staff, and a disciplined territory plan aimed at meeting or exceeding quota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years direct sales experience with 2–4 years in medical device industry preferred.
• Experience selling technology and/or capital products to multiple hospital call points.
• Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
• Experience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representatives.

Responsibilities

• Convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Train surgeons on Smith+ Nephew products through education/programs in your territory.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff and clinicians to increase product adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to generate revenue and meet quota.
• Support product availability and provide first-class technical support to facilities.
