Job summary

Miami Marlins is seeking a proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support a wide range of HR functions at loanDepot park. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance management, contributing to a positive workplace.

The role includes HR reporting, administrative tasks, and game coverage as part of normal duties. Candidates should have prior HR experience and strong communication skills to thrive in a dynamic sports environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology or related field (or equivalent).
• 2+ years in HR, onboarding or employee relations; sports/entertainment a plus.
• Basic understanding of HR practices and labor laws; on-the-job training provided.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills; proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Staffing Support: post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, coordinate with hiring managers.
• Onboarding: prepare paperwork, conduct new hire orientations, ensure smooth onboarding.
• Employee Relations: respond to inquiries, guide on HR policies and procedures.
• HR Compliance and Recordkeeping: maintain records and support audits.
• Benefits Administration: assist with enrollment and inquiries.
• Performance Management: track evaluations, goals, feedback cycles.
• HR Reporting: assist with HR metrics and reporting.
• General Administrative Support: calendar management, filing, internal communications.
• Game Coverage: work games including nights, weekends, and holidays.
