Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Mission Viejo, CA, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the sports bar team, including Shift Managers, Servers and Bartenders, and to deliver legendary guest experiences. The AGM will oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, enforce food safety and responsible alcohol service, manage labor costs, and drive guest satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in restaurant management required.
• Must have food handler and alcohol certifications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage sports bar operations and zone management per shift.
• Hire, onboard, train, develop and retain staff.
• Ensure food safety and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Monitor labor, COS, CVDs, and labor costs for FOH.
• Engage guests and collect feedback to improve service.
• Lead training, appraisals, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with laws and safety.
