Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a skilled post-award financial administrator to manage grants, contracts, and clinical trial finances within SPFS. You will handle award setup, invoicing, cash management, and monthly closes, ensuring GAAP compliance and sponsor guidelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams to provide accurate reporting and analysis, support audits, and drive timely project closeouts in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis with ability to interpret fiscal regulations.
• Understanding of GAAP, Uniform Guidance and healthcare/clinical research financial practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate post-award administration for grants, contracts, and clinical trials.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly close per GAAP and sponsor guidelines.
• invoice, monitor cash flow, and manage accounts receivable and cost sharing.
• generate financial reports and analyze variances for stakeholders.
• manage project closeout including cost-sharing and final invoicing.
